Re: Childhood hero

I understand all that, but you still have the choice not to throw your life away.. just because you have alot of pressure or stress is no excuse to abuse drugs and alchohol.

Re: Childhood hero

What's so wrong with throwing your life away?

Diego did it, and he's still the God of Argentina.

He's worshipped. His word is as good as law, and he's got more power than Kirchner should he choose to use it.

Sure, he's 46 and looks like he's 64, but with the life he's lived, and the adoration thrown his way, I don't know if the addictions, the near fatal weight problem and the death defying lifestyle weren't all worth it :P

Re: Childhood hero

I'm willing to bet you don't understand all that. I'm not advocating throwing your life away, but you either reverse the cycle and live in a pressurecooker for a long time, or you don't and live in a pressurecooker for a shorter period of time.

Re: Childhood hero

Some people just like getting high...other people are predisposed to addiction and hedonism.

If you havent been in those shoes, I'd like to see you walk a mile.

When I was maybe 4 or 5, I wanted to be a garbage man. They only work one day a week.

Re: Childhood hero

I had a Mormon middle school science teacher tell me the same thing. You know you're getting a good education when before going into how the earth was formed he makes an "I don't believe in this shit" disclaimer.
