Yeah it was a while ago but I only emailed it to vae a few days ago as I happened to be thinking about it.

Vae, they do air those games. There is a channel that only has soccer on all the time.

I really don't like the way Henry has been vilified over this though. He only did what anyone would have done. In fact in an interview after the game Damien Duff said "myself or Robbie would have done the same thing" (source: http://news.bbc.co.uk/spor t2/hi/football/8367895.stm)

The heartbreaking thing is that we didn't take our chances, we didn't defend well enough for the goal, the linesman and ref were incompetent and we were the victims of FIFA's last minute seeding debacle.

Henry sought an advantage by breaking the rules and that happens every week from claiming throw ins which aren't yours, making fouls, pulling jerseys, diving and countless other actions intended to put yourself in a position to win the game. Its up to the officials to deal with it.

I would have instinctively done the same thing, as would anyone else reading this. So to condemn Henry as some sort of serial cheat is pretty hypoctrical, and a finger pointing exercise to take the attention away from the fact that we didn't take our chances and beat a French team that were there for the taking.
